Replacement of Policies:
We prioritize your best interests and advise against policy replacements, as they may incur duplicate costs. Our advisors ensure thorough documentation and compliance with replacement policy guidelines.
Cooling-off Cancellation:
You have the right to cancel your policy within 31 days of receiving the documentation. Simply submit your cancellation request in writing, and any paid premiums (less policy provisions) will be refunded.
Premium Analysis:
Rest assured that your monthly premium covers all commissions, fees, and administration charges permitted by legislation. Detailed breakdowns are available upon request for full transparency.
Other Conditions:
- Unpaid premiums at the time of death will be deducted from the benefit.
- Suicide is covered after 12 months of full policyholder status.
- You have the right to review the master policy for additional clarity
Terms and Conditions: Repatriation
- Transportation assistance is provided for funerals between 50 km and 150 km from home, covering up to R100 per person (maximum R400) for four immediate family members.
- For funerals over 150 km away, we cover up to R500 per person (maximum R2,000) for four immediate family members.
- Benefits become effective after payment of the second premium and must be coordinated through our call center.
- While we strive to monitor service providers, ultimate responsibility for any incidents during service provision lies with the provider.
Assured Life Transportation Benefit:
In the unfortunate event of the assured life’s passing, we arrange and cover costs for transportation back to the place of residence within South Africa, up to R20,000. This benefit excludes self-inflicted injuries.
